THE OLD BARN

 

This old barn has been around for years, it was originally constructed with solid 2x4's nailed side by each.  Having never been properly sided it began to suffer the effects of dry rot and general deterioration.  Many hours and hundreds of dollars worth of donated materials have gone into it to make it a safe and exciting home haunted attraction.  The intention of these efforts is to earn enough money through a fund raising effort to make our small, rural elementary school a better and happier place for our children to learn.

This year, look for our new and exciting PUMPKIN PATCH CEMETERY.  All proceeds of pumpkin sales to be donated to the children of Hall's Prairie Elementary School.

A lot of work has gone into making this old barn structurally safe for our Halloween event.  On the positive side however, this building is not needed for anything else so it can be permanently devoted to Halloween.  Keep checking back for construction updates.

 

update:  DUE TO TEMPORARY SHUTDOWN BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND SUBSEQUENT REOPENING, a new section has been  added on fire code  regulations and what you can do to make your haunt an enjoyable, but safe experience for all.

Thanks to the ongoing assistance of the Surrey Chief Fire Safety Officer, I will be able to provide pointers for Haunt safety which comply to both the Canadian and American code.  Please check back for this addition to the site.
